    Afghanistan and Bangladesh Discuss Expanding Trade Relations in Tehran

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with the Speaker of the Bangladesh Parliament, Hafizuddin Ahmed, in Tehran.

    According to the ministry, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, with a particular focus on expanding trade and economic cooperation.

    Mr. Muttaqi described the existing trade potential between the two countries as significant and stressed that these opportunities should be effectively utilized to promote the economic growth of both nations.

    The Speaker of the Bangladesh Parliament also described Afghanistan-Bangladesh relations as historic, stating that expanding trade ties would benefit both countries and support Afghanistan’s economic reconstruction process.
