Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with the United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador to Afghanistan, Saif Al Ketbi, in Kabul today to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral ties, expanding areas of cooperation, and regional developments, according to the ministry statement.
Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi said relations between Afghanistan and the UAE are developing positively and stressed the need to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The UAE ambassador also welcomed the ongoing cooperation between the two countries and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to expanding long-term cooperation with Afghanistan.
