The Pakistani Taliban Movement, in a statement, announced that a local Jihadi group from the Swat region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has pledged allegiance to the leader of the movement.
According to the statement, key members of the group, identified as Haji Gul, Mufti Ilyas, and Abrar, along with other fighters, have committed to accepting the principles and regulations of the Pakistani Taliban.
The Pakistani Taliban Movement had previously called on other armed groups to unite in order to strengthen resistance against the Pakistani military regime.
It is worth noting that in the past, numerous militant groups from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other parts of Pakistan have joined the movement along with thousands of their fighters.
