The Herat provincial media office said in a statement that the new administrative building of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Industries was inaugurated at a cost of AFN 65 million in the presence of Herat Governor Sheikh Islam-Jar, traders, and industrialists.
Herat Governor Sheikh Islam-Jar said that the province’s industrial sector has made significant progress in recent years, with the efforts of industrialists and the support of the Afghan government being key factors behind this development.
He also announced that work on the TAPI project in Herat is nearing completion and is expected to be completed within the next two months.
Islam-Jar called on industrialists and residents to cooperate with the relevant authorities to facilitate the gas transmission project and the implementation of the city’s master plan.
