    Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, Leads Delegation to Pakistan

    The Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced that its acting minister, Mawlawi Nooruddin Azizi, leading an official delegation departed for Pakistan today, Wednesday (April 16).

    According to the ministry, the delegation includes representatives from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, as well as the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Refugees and Repatriation, Transport and Civil Aviation, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock. Delegates from the chambers of agricultural products, commerce, and investment are also accompanying the delegation.

    The ministry stated that the purpose of the visit is to review and address existing barriers to trade, transit, and transportation between the two countries, and to hold discussions on the challenges and concerns facing Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
