    Afghan and Bangladeshi Officials Agree to Establish a Joint Trade Committee

    The Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mawlawi Ahmadullah Zahid, along with his accompanying delegation, met with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of Bangladesh, Mahboob-ul-Rahman.

    According to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the meeting included comprehensive discussions on the signing of trade agreements, banking facilities, granting preferential tariffs for Afghan products, increasing trade volume, and the import of medicines and textiles into Afghanistan.

    The ministry stated that the two sides also agreed on organizing joint exhibitions in Kabul and Dhaka, appointing commercial attachés in both countries, and establishing a joint committee aimed at removing trade barriers.
