Local security sources told Voice of Hindukush that, at around 8:30 a.m. today, Afghan forces carried out a retaliatory attack on a Pakistani militia post in the Dand-e Sar Leitay Kandaw area of Dangam District, Kunar Province.
The sources did not provide any information regarding casualties on the Pakistani side following the attack.
According to informations, the post had previously been used to fire both light and heavy weapons toward nearby Afghan side residential areas along the disputed Durand Line.
