Shah Mahmood Miakhil, former acting defense minister of Afghanistan’s previous republican regime, has strongly criticized Afghan political figures for engaging with Pakistani intelligence representatives in Istanbul.

Referring to these meetings, Miakhil stated, “These opportunistic leaders blame Pakistan for all our problems, yet they still hold meetings with the very country they accuse of being the root cause of Afghanistan’s destruction. These rented politicians are always on standby, ready to serve the interests of others.”

He further added, “Unfortunately, those individuals and groups who have been financially dependent on intelligence agencies cannot imagine a life outside these manipulative networks or free themselves from their influence.”

Recently, Hindukosh Voice reported that a delegation from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is set to meet with Afghan opposition leaders in Turkey. This news has sparked widespread public outrage against these political groups.
