    The Director of Public Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, announced in a statement that Dr. Mardif Al-Qahtani, Chargé d’Affaires of the Qatari Embassy in Kabul, met with Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

    According to the statement, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties between Afghanistan and Qatar, expanding diplomatic relations, Qatar’s continued support for Afghanistan, and a range of other regional issues.
