The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that delegates from Afghanistan, Central Asia, and Azerbaijan have arrived in Kabul for a regional conference of strategic studies centers.

The event, hosted by the ministry’s Center for Strategic Studies, formally opened with an address by Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

The conference brings together heads of strategic studies institutions and policymakers from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan.

Officials note that discussions will focus on regional connectivity, stability, trade, energy, transit, investment, and broader economic cooperation. The meeting is expected to support long-term regional stability and shared prosperity, while advancing a new phase of regional collaboration.
