Afghanistan’s Active Diplomacy in 2025 and the Concerns of the Opponents

According to the contemporary theory of international relations, every new political system begins with a stage of denial toward foreign states, followed by stages of contact, interaction, and ultimately recognition. The Afghan government has transitioned out of the engagement phase and is in the recognition phase in 2025, which is considered a major diplomatic shift in the political arena.

The Afghan government’s cabinet members’ 99 foreign trips are a clear sign of “active” diplomacy; in international politics, diplomacy is not just about opening embassies, but also about sustained presence, direct contact, and building trust, which the Afghan government has practically demonstrated.

The initiation of the recognition process by Russia was the most significant diplomatic development for the Afghan government in the past year, 2025. Russia’s bold move of recognition carries a significant political message: that a major international player has accepted the reality of the ruling regime in Afghanistan continuing.

The expansion of relations with India, the visit of the Foreign Minister to that country, and India’s acceptance of the new acting Afghan government ambassador in New Delhi showed that the Afghan government is not a victim of regional rivalries, but rather a skilled practitioner of balanced policy and an independent player.

The development of the Afghan government’s security, economic, political, bilateral, and multilateral relations with Iran and Central Asian countries is a clear sign of a balanced policy and active diplomacy. The provision of extensive consular services by the Afghan government to Afghan citizens in these countries is a recognition of the Afghan government as a reality, and this development is a complete and practical rejection of the idea of complete isolation.

Nasir’s and similar figures’ critical and illogical statements should be evaluated in light of diplomatic realities, not based on political sensitivities; Nasir Andisha’s stance stems from a complex arising from a lost position, rather than accepting reality.

Nasir Andisha should understand that instead of sanctions remaining is a political process that will fade over time; the fact that the world has not abandoned the negotiating table with the Afghan government is itself a sign of success and shows that the path to progress is open.

Nasir Andisha is prepared for any deal with Afghans to protect his personal interests, and he presents any distorted information against the Afghan people on the international stage. He is neither a representative of Afghanistan nor can he provide a true picture of the Afghan people.

Afghanistan, as a result of the Afghan government’s continuous efforts, has become a prominent and noteworthy country in the region and the world. However, despite all these advancements, the opponents of the Afghan nation spread misinformation and ignore Afghanistan’s progress, not to praise it, but to achieve the evil goals of foreigners and secure personal interests.

The opposition blatantly denies the security, political, and economic achievements of the Afghan government. They attempt to confuse the public mind in every aspect to hide their incompetence and past crimes in order to mislead the people. However, the Afghan people now know the opposition very well and will never fall prey to their evil goals.

The year 2025 AD was a year full of successes and achievements for the Afghan government in all areas, but it can be called a year of failure in every aspect for the conscious opponents of the Afghan people. This year, the virtual activity of conscious opponents was narrowed, and they were gradually expelled from countries where they previously operated against the Afghan people, and this expulsion is still ongoing.
