    Afghanistan’s Railways Transport 155,000 Metric Tons Over the Past Week

    The Ministry of Public Works reported that over the past week, a total of 155,345 metric tons were transported through the country’s railway network.

    According to the ministry’s data, the highest volumes were moved through the Hairatan, Torghundi, Aqina, and Herat-Khaf border crossings.

    The ministry added that out of the total transport, 386 tons were exports, primarily consisting of dried fruits and precious stones.
