Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, speaking at a program outlining the one-year achievements of the Emirate’s authorities, said that the approval of the Industrial Zones Law by the government’s leadership, along with the introduction of a regulation to facilitate the return of Afghan traders and industrialists from abroad, were among the ministry’s key achievements over the past year.

Azizi noted that Afghanistan’s trade volume has reached nearly $13 billion, with active trade relations established with more than 100 countries.

He added that 27 trade exhibitions were held across the country last year, while Afghan products were showcased at 17 international and regional expos.

The acting minister further stated that, in support of economic growth, Afghanistan has signed 16 bilateral agreements with various countries.
