The arrest of two Afghans in connection with the attack on two National Guard soldiers in the United States has drawn international media attention, and discussions on this matter have continued for several days. However, the most important point is that the US government and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi have unanimously stated that the incident has no connection to the Afghan government. Kristi said in connection with the incident that “Rahmanullah Lakhanwal may have become radicalized after coming to the United States.” Overall, the US government’s position indicates that it considers the incident to be solely an individual and personal responsibility.

The statements of the US Secretary of Homeland Security clarified that the shooting incident is a personal crime and that such incidents and crimes are generally not linked to governments. The US government’s clarification and the transparency regarding the Afghan government’s non-involvement in this incident proved the imaginary analyzes and propaganda of all opponents of the Afghan government to be incorrect.

While the responsibility for US domestic security does not fall on the Afghan government, nor does the US blame the Afghan government for the incident, the fictional group calling itself the Resistance Front has still attempted to create suspicion and spread misinformation. The group’s foreign relations officer claimed that “the terrorist(!) arrested in the US, They might also have ties to the Taliban. This fictional and isolated group is trying to exploit a personal crime for political gain and give it a political color in order to later portray themselves as committed to protecting international security and appear as an alternative.

The isolated resistance groups’ unrealistic stance demonstrates that this group is completely facing political failure; this group only hopes for the country’s reoccupation and, to achieve this goal, engages in anti-Afghan propaganda in every incident, politicizes personal crimes, and attempts to draw the attention of foreigners to Afghanistan.

On the other hand, the Afghan government’s position on peace and stability is a practical reflection of the Afghan government’s stance. The Afghan government’s core policy includes maintaining internal security, preventing crime and open threats to other countries, eliminating corruption, protecting the country’s territorial integrity, and other matters. The past four years are practical proof that Afghan soil has not witnessed major negative events compared to many countries around the world, nor has it posed threats to other countries. These field realities completely prove all the propaganda claims of the resistance group to be completely false and worthless.

The Resistance Front, thru its irresponsible statements, has attempted to threaten and cause problems for all Afghans who have been accepted by the United States in recent decades. Such irresponsible statements by the Resistance group show that only personal interests are important and a priority for them.
