Syrian media reported that the country’s Ministry of Interior forces have detained a commander of the Assad regime named Amjad Youssef, who was responsible for Martyrdom of around 500 Syrian and Palestinian civilians.
Amjad Youssef held various positions during the Assad regime and, about 13 years ago, carried out a mass killing in the Al-Tazamoon area of Syria.
He brutally martyred hundreds of Syrian and Palestinian civilians.
Following the announcement of his arrest, many people across Syria have taken to the streets to celebrate.
