The Balkh Provincial Media Office said in a statement that the regular meeting of the Security and Clearance Commission was held under the chairmanship of Governor Mullah Mohammad Yousuf Wafa. During the meeting, officials from security and civilian institutions discussed the province’s security situation, efforts to combat smuggling, and measures to improve administrative coordination.

According to the statement, the meeting was attended by the Deputy Governor of Balkh, representatives of the 209 Al-Fath Corps, the Provincial Police Command, the Intelligence Directorate, and a number of military and civilian officials.

During the session, the governor emphasized that maintaining security, strengthening the system, enhancing coordination among government institutions, and improving the quality of public services are among the commission’s primary objectives.

Participants also exchanged views on preventing smuggling, expanding relations with neighboring countries, security-related issues, and several civil affairs, and adopted a number of decisions aimed at improving order and administrative effectiveness.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the governor instructed all relevant institutions to intensify their efforts in implementing plans, accelerating administrative work, and strengthening both security measures and public services.
