    Budget Approved for Construction of 100-Bed Hospital in Panjshir

    The interim government has allocated a budget of 148 million Afghanis for the construction of a 100-bed provincial hospital in Panjshir province.

    According to a statement from the Panjshir Directorate of Information and Culture, the hospital is planned to be built in the Baharak area, situated in the provincial capital.

    Officials indicated that the hospital will comprise two three-story blocks, having departments for surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology and obstetrics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and otolaryngology. The hospital will also have fully equipped operating rooms, a pharmacy, an X-ray unit, and a patient waiting area.
