CBS News citing sources familiar with the matter reported that Benjamin Netanyahu made a secret visit to the United Arab Emirates during the conflict with Iran.
The report added that Netanyahu held a meeting with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the visit.
Netanyahu’s office confirmed the trip, stating that it represented a significant development in relations between the Zionist regime and the United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said that the regime had also deployed Iron Dome air defense batteries, along with related personnel, to the United Arab Emirates.
The United Arab Emirates was the first country to sign the Abraham Accords with the Zionist regime in 2020 under U.S. mediation, which led to the normalization of relations between the two sides.
