Armed Forces Chief of Staff Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat told a coordination meeting with political and military analysts that continuous efforts are underway to develop a modern, fully equipped army capable of safeguarding the country’s sovereignty in all situations.

He noted that the National Islamic Army is now fully self-reliant and, over the past four years, has made every possible effort in fulfilling its responsibility to defend the country, without hesitation or compromise.

Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat further stressed that anyone with hostile intentions toward the country will face a resolute and courageous response from the National Islamic Army. He added, “It is now clear to neighboring countries that any attack on Afghanistan will be met with a response a hundred times over.”

Meanwhile, political and military analysts, former generals, and media representatives expressed their full support for the National Islamic Army.
