According to a report by Tasnim News Agency, CNN has reported that officials from the Trump administration have acknowledged that Yemenis successfully shot down seven American drones, effectively halting the second phase of U.S. military operations.

The source quoted American officials as saying, “We had hoped to carry out large-scale operations in Yemen over the past 30 days and thereby bring down the Houthis, but they have repeatedly targeted our drones and obstructed our moves.”

It is worth noting that, over the past six weeks, the Yemeni Houthis have downed seven American drones, causing an estimated $200 million in losses.
