The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has reported that the death toll from ongoing clashes in the southern province of Sweida has risen to 718.

According to the report, since last Sunday, 146 Druze fighters, 245 civilians, and 287 government troops have been killed. Additionally, 18 tribal fighters and three civilians were executed by Druze forces, while 15 government soldiers were martyred in airstrikes carried out by the Zionist regime.

The escalation comes as the Syrian Presidential Palace announced a ceasefire in Sweida. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior stated that security forces will soon be deployed to the affected areas to restore order.
