    Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics Leads Delegation to Iran

    Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, confirmed that Mullah Abdulhaq Akhund, the Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics is leading an official delegation to Iran. The visit follows an invitation extended by the Iranian government.

    According to Qani, the delegation’s agenda includes discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries, particularly focusing on the identification and prevention of narcotics. The talks will also emphasize strengthening joint efforts in combating drug-related challenges.
