    Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Turkish Ambassador in Kabul

    Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Deputy Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan, Cenk Ünal, in Kabul, according to a statement from the ministry’s Directorate of Public Relations.

    The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations, addressing the challenges faced by returning refugees, and discussing various other mutual interests.

    Dr. Naeem emphasized the deep-rooted and unbreakable ties between Afghanistan and Turkey, grounded in shared religious, political, cultural, and historical values. He expressed gratitude for Turkey’s comprehensive support and urged continued assistance for returning refugees.

    Ambassador Ünal conveyed his commitment to expanding bilateral relations and shared information on Turkey’s plans for engagement with Afghanistan across multiple sectors.
