    Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi Assesses the Situation at Bagram Prison

    According to a statement released by the Arg (Emiratei Palace), Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, leading a delegation, visited Bagram Prison to assess its overall conditions and hear the concerns of the inmates.

    The statement said that the delegation, composed of members of the Commission for the Organization of Staffing Structures and Salaries, inspected various sections of the prison and received information regarding healthcare services for inmates, food supplies, detention conditions, and other related matters.

    During his discussions with several inmates, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi listened to their requests and instructed prison officials to uphold the rights of prisoners in accordance with Islamic Sharia, improve their living conditions, and address their concerns in a timely manner.

    Officials of Bagram Prison also briefed the delegation on the current situation of the inmates and the measures that have been taken, while assuring them of their commitment to providing better services.
