The Economic Commission, led by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mawlawi Abdul Ghani Baradar, has approved the draft revenue policy for the mining sector following a thorough review and consideration of proposed amendments.

Additionally, the commission has approved a plan to build a commercial market in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, with an investment of 80 million Afghanis. The proposal was endorsed after careful evaluation and the consideration of necessary revisions.

The market, as outlined in the plan, will consist of a six-story building with parking facilities, 56 shops, and other essential amenities.

In a press release, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs confirmed that these decisions have been forwarded to the leadership of the interim government for final approval.
