According to a report by Al Jazeera, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a phone conversation with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier that a war with Iran could weaken Europe.
During the call, Erdoğan stated that a war against Iran would not only have regional impacts but could also extend to Europe and further worsen the situation.
According to Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Erdoğan emphasized that the conflict, which has begun in the region, could also contribute to Europe’s weakening, and if the crisis is not managed through peaceful means, the consequences of war would be severe.
