The European Union has announced one million euros in emergency assistance for the victims of the earthquake in eastern provinces of Afghanistan.
In a statement, the EU said that 130 tons of relief items, including tents, clothing, and medical supplies, will be provided to the affected people.
The EU also mentioned that the Copernicus satellite service has been activated to facilitate the delivery of aid through the use of emergency mapping.
