The fallen republic was one of the West’s grand plans for the Muslim nation of Afghanistan, which sought to gradually remove religion from people’s daily lives and introduce the people of this land to Western culture, distancing them from Islamic and Afghan culture.
They were close to succeeding in their plan, but with the unwavering support of Allah, the sacrifices and efforts of the Mujahideen, our people were freed from this calamity and returned to the path of their former Islam and Afghan identity. However, the remnants of these malicious plans still exist, and it will take years of effort to improve this situation or at least return it to its previous state.
One of the calculated plans of the West and the puppet republic was to immerse the youth and the general public of Afghanistan, both men and women, in virtual television, cinema and internet programs. Programs that in the West are attempted to be used healthily, but in Afghanistan were introduced as avenues to achieve diabolical and carnal desires.
During the Republic era, our youth and most of our people were immersed in these virtual spaces, and almost all of the virtual space was taken over by immoral and unhealthy content. Televisions had turned into platforms for dancing and singing and the internet had become a space for love, romance, and debauchery.
Despite the high cost of internet in Afghanistan, a large portion of the population uses the internet and social networks. Except for areas where people are distant from the internet due to the lack of satellite signals, people in other places have access to the internet.
In this context, many people encounter accounts and pages in the virtual space that target their religion and faith, honor and conscience, culture and traditions and emotional sentiments. The activities of these pages are a continuation of the sinister plans of the West and the fallen republic that had distanced our nation from religious peace and Afghan culture for years.
There were many fake accounts in the virtual space, but with the change of regime in Afghanistan, the West fears that its twenty years of efforts will be wasted. Therefore, by attracting naive and greedy individuals, they want to revive their sinister plans. This is why we see pages created with Islamic and Afghan names, but their publications are against Islam, Islamic systems, and Afghan culture.
In recent days, several people have been arrested for having fake accounts. If this trend continues, it will be very beneficial in reducing negative propaganda against religion and culture. To protect religious and Afghan values, the government must monitor all the actions of the people. This is not strictness, but planning to prevent the future generation from being misled.
Many young people fall in love with a girl on social media and after a while, they find out that the person is actually a boy or a man. Many social media pages cut and edit the words of scholars and preachers and some ignorant of religion believe it to be true, expressing disgust and indifference towards religion and scholars.
All of this is part of the West’s sinister plans, as they have been deprived of direct activities and want to compensate through this means. Therefore, the nation and the authorities must be vigilant and alert to build the future of Afghanistan. Indeed, the healthy upbringing of the future generation depends on controlling the current generation on social media.
