The Press Office of Farah Police Command announced that officers in the province’s seventh security district have arrested two individuals attempting to smuggle drugs worth two million Afghanis from Pakistan through Nimroz to Farah.
Sources confirmed that, in addition to the two suspects, a third person was arrested in the first district for involvement in illegal drug trafficking.
Following the full ban on drug imports from Pakistan, security forces have stepped up efforts to prevent drug smuggling.
