The spokesperson for the Khost Provincial Office, Mustaghfar Gurbaz, stated that the city’s fire department quickly contained a fire caused by an electrical short circuit in a house, behind high-rise buildings in Khost city. This timely action prevented an estimated loss of five million Afghanis.
According to Mr. Gurbaz, the fire only damaged a small part of a room, with no casualties or further damages.
