According to reports, the foreign ministers of Russia, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger announced in a joint press conference that they have signed a security agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, Russia will provide military training and weapons to the armed forces of these countries.

Amid the failure of U.S. and French policies, along with their overt interference and indirect occupation in these countries, the people of these countries have recently declared their intent to break away from them. Capitalizing on this shift, Russia has expanded its political and military influence in the region.
