The Media Office of the Nangarhar Province has reported that security forces have arrested three individuals in connection with the killing of six members of Esfandiar’s family in the Sultanpur area of Surkhrod district, Nangarhar province.
According to the source, based on the confessions of the arrested individuals, the incident had personal and family-related motives. Detailed information about the case will be shared soon.
Deputy Governor of Nangarhar, Mawlawi Azizullah Mustafa, praised the efforts of the security forces in apprehending the perpetrators and instructed officials to arrest the remaining individuals involved and bring them to justice.
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Mustafa, during the funeral of the six victims yesterday, had promised that the perpetrators would be arrested soon.
