    Fuel Tanker Explosion Kills 35 in Nigeria

    At least 35 people were killed and several others injured when a fuel tanker overturned and exploded in northern Nigeria, according to reports.

    Reuters, citing Nigerian officials, reported that the incident took place yesterday in Niger State, in the country’s north.

    Fuel tanker accidents are a recurring tragedy in Nigeria, frequently tied to the illegal transport or storage of fuel.
