Germany’s Foreign Minister, Johann Wadhofel, addressing ongoing ceasefire negotiations in Ukraine, has urged the West, particularly the United States, to provide the country with strong and reliable security guarantees.
In a recent interview, he stressed that it must be clear that if Ukraine faces another attack, there will be a party prepared to stand firmly alongside it.
Wadhofel further noted that Ukraine can only consider making concessions to Russia, including territorial compromises, if it is assured of solid security backing.
