Data from the popular flight tracking website “FlightRadar24” shows that Greek airspace has become completely empty of aircraft.

Images shared by the website reveal that no planes are visible over Greece’s airspace.

So far, the Greek government has not officially stated the reason for this situation, but some sources speculate it may be due to a technical issue with communication systems.

This comes amid rising tensions between Greece and Turkey. A few days ago, some media outlets reported that Turkish fighter jets had violated Greek airspace.
