Tasnim News Agency, citing a well-informed source, reported that Iran did not approach the Islamabad talks with any sense of urgency and instead put forward rational initiatives and proposals during the discussions.

The source further stated that, as with its wartime miscalculations, the United States has so far also misjudged the negotiations.

Iranian sources added that unless the United States agrees to a reasonable deal, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain unchanged. They further noted that neither the timing nor the venue for the next round of talks has been decided yet.
