Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned recent U.S. strikes on southern Iran, according to an official statement. Tehran also warned regional countries, particularly Gulf countries, against allowing their territory to be used for attacks against Iran.
The statement added that if the United States or Israel use the territory, airspace, or military bases of any country to launch operations against Iran, Tehran will consider those launch points legitimate targets and respond by striking the origins of such attacks.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that, under international law, no country is permitted to use its territory or military facilities for launching attacks against another country.
