Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned that any country launching military action against Iran will face a firm and reciprocal response.
Addressing the United States, Ghalibaf said the era of governing through force and threats is over, warning that any attack on Iran would be met with retaliation against those responsible.
He also said Iran has the sovereign right to manage the Strait of Hormuz and insisted that no foreign pressure or threats would influence Tehran’s decisions regarding the strategic waterway.
Ghalibaf further warned that if Washington continues its policy of pressure and confrontation, it will only deepen regional tensions and fuel further instability.
