Following the end of Iran’s strikes against Israel, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on his X account that his priority is safeguarding national security and ensuring public peace, stressing that Tehran will firmly defend its national interests and the rights of its people.
Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran will not retreat in the face of any threat and will take a resolute stance in defending its rights with full strength.
He added that diplomacy and defense are the two main pillars of Iran’s national power, and that the country has neither abandoned its diplomatic efforts nor stepped away from maintaining its defensive readiness.
Pezeshkian further stated that, through unity, rationality, and national cohesion, the country will successfully overcome the current challenges and tests it faces.
