To establish and form a government with clear policies, while respecting national interests, it is necessary for capable and qualified individuals to be in power and actively work on formulating the national policy document. Additionally, these individuals, while possessing political skills and expertise, must also have a sense of service to the nation and an understanding of the needs of their society and country.
What was evident in the past and during the previous government of Afghanistan was contrary to these two fundamental criteria; because all the powerful individuals and so-called politicians of Afghanistan, in addition to lacking real political competence, never demonstrated a sense of service to the nation or an understanding of the country’s fundamental needs.
But now Afghanistan has entered a new phase where the criteria for independence and freedom in various political, economic, and other sectors are evident; to the extent that even enemies and opponents acknowledge it.
It must be said that the most important component of a country’s political formation is its independence and freedom, such that it is protected and safeguarded from foreign intervention and exploitation. What is currently evident and ongoing in the comprehensive policy of the current Afghan government reflects this very reality.
However, whenever we look back at the past, this component has been absent in all its forms. In fact, the main orchestrators of Afghanistan’s national policies were the occupiers and foreigners who, thru financial support and granting national and social positions to specific and well-known individuals, had taken on a role and influence in the formulation and implementation of the national policies of this country.
With this background, it can be stated that all political actors in the executive positions of the country in the past lacked the independent and free-thinking qualifications to implement such a policy.
Despite this, their known opponents and supporters seem to have optimally used this opportunity to further solidify their illusory positions in the media and have once again stated that they are willing to engage in dialog and negotiation with the official representatives of the current Afghan government to establish the political framework for Afghanistan’s future.
The surprise and question here is how those who, during their time of power and presence on the throne of power, could not establish a unified and independent political system and implement it at the national level, now claim that they can confront those who are currently implementing an inclusive political system; a system in which there is no doubt about the interference of foreign factors?
Moreover, before these individuals called for a meeting to discuss the future political system of Afghanistan, they had never held any meeting among themselves focused on such a topic, nor have they been able to establish any relative unity and cohesion among themselves; rather, their appearance has increasingly shown signs of division and separation.
Therefore, it can be concluded that the fleeing opponents of Afghanistan, under various titles and signs and with the support of their numerous backers, can never achieve cohesion and relative unity among themselves, nor can they engage in discussions and negotiations on a matter for which they have neither the authority nor the capability in the past, and then be prepared with a clear and evident outcome to hold a meeting with the official representatives of the current Afghan government.
Such claims and setting preconditions for discussions about the future political system of Afghanistan are, in fact, attempts to attract public attention, establish their false position in the eyes of the people, and prevent their political figures from being forgotten.
