The member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) approved a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza during an emergency meeting held on Friday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The initiative aims to rebuild the territory, which has been severely damaged in the conflict between the Zionist regime of Israel and the Hamas movement.

The plan was developed by Egypt. Following the OIC ministerial meeting, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atty announced its approval, describing it as a positive step forward.
