Afghanistan’s ambassador to Russia, Mawlawi Gul Hassan Hassan, held meetings with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sergey Katyrin, and other senior Russian officials on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The Embassy of Afghanistan in Russia stated on X that the meeting focused on expanding bilateral trade and economic relations, enhancing opportunities for Afghan traders, and providing support for Afghan students living in St. Petersburg.
