    Kabul and Tehran Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration, Dr. Mohammad Naeem, met with his Iranian counterpart, Dr. Mehdi Sobhani.

    During the talks, both sides focused on deepening bilateral ties and improving consular services for Afghans living in Iran.

    Dr. Naeem stressed that the Afghan government is committed to building balanced and bilateral relations with its neighbors, stressing dialogue and mutual understanding as the preferred way to resolve challenges.

    Dr. Sobhani, representing Iran’s Foreign Ministry, reaffirmed Tehran’s respect for Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and said Iran remains supporter of peace and stability in the region.
