Kabul provincial media office reported that 1,116 jeribs of land owned by the Land Directorate in Mir Bacha Kot district have been allocated to the Ministry of Public Health for the construction of a standardized industrial park for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
To implement the decision, Kabul Governor Mawlawi Aminullah Obaid and an accompanying delegation visited the site to oversee demarcation, handover and transfer procedures.
The governor called the initiative a key step toward national self-sufficiency in pharmaceutical production, curbing reliance on imports, and generating new employment opportunities.
Officials stated that the industrial park will boost domestic pharmaceutical production and advance the public health sector’s economic and technical capabilities.
