Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, met with China’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Zhao Xing, in Kabul to discuss various issues, including the forced deportation of Afghan refugees from neighboring countries.

According to a statement from the ministry, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir emphasized that the forced expulsion of Afghan refugees has adversely affected the delivery of aid within the country.

Ambassador Zhao Xing highlighted the importance of the longstanding political and diplomatic relations between China and Afghanistan. He reaffirmed Beijing’s commitment to supporting Afghanistan’s economic growth and investment initiatives.

Furthermore, Ambassador Zhao stated that the Chinese government is prepared to assist in constructing residential areas for Afghan refugees and plans to build several homes for them within Afghanistan.
