Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid reported that Afghan forces launched a series of powerful attacks last night near the disputed Durand Line, capturing 25 Pakistani military posts and killing 58 Pakistani soldiers.

He added that after Afghan forces secured these positions, Qatar intervened, requesting that the attacks be halted.

Mujahid confirmed that the attacks were halted following Qatar’s request and after Afghan forces had accomplished their operational objectives.
