The spokesperson of the caretaker government, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, expressed deep sorrow over the death of the prominent national poet Matiullah Turab on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
Mr. Mujahid wrote that he was deeply affected by Turab’s passing and extended his condolences to his family and relatives.
It is worth mentioning that the funeral of the epic poet Matiullah Turab will be held today at 2:00 PM in Jalalabad, the capital city of Nangarhar province.
