    Meeting with the Charge d’Affaires of Japan: Discussion on Bilateral Cooperation in the Health Sector

    Mulla Bakht Rahman Sharafat, Deputy Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Public Health, met with Mikio Izawa, Charge d’Affaires of Japan to Afghanistan, to discuss bilateral cooperation in the health sector.

    In a press release from the Ministry, Mr. Sharafat expressed appreciation for Japan’s ongoing support to Afghanistan and stressed the importance of not only continuing but also expanding this collaboration.

    For his part, the Japanese Charge d’Affaires expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations in the health sector and assured continued efforts to enhance cooperation.
