The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, met with his Belarusian counterpart, Andrey Yevgenyevich Kuznetsov, during his visit to Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce stated that both sides discussed increasing the level of trade and purchasing oil from Belarus.
According to the ministry, Mr. Azizi also called on Belarusian investors during the meeting to invest in Afghanistan in various sectors, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.
Sources added that both sides also agreed to establish a joint working team at the level of deputy ministers.
