Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Enayatullah Khwarazmi: Pakistan’s Military Regime Cannot Cover Up Its Security Failures with Baseless Accusations and Hasty Statements

The Ministry of Defense spokesperson, Enayatullah Khwarazmi, stated that while Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the explosion in Islamabad, as in the past, Pakistan’s Defense Minister immediately and irresponsibly attributed the incident to Afghanistan.

Khwarazmi emphasized that such statements and blaming Afghanistan have no logic or basis, and that the regime cannot conceal its own security failures through such hasty remarks.

He questioned that if Pakistan’s military regime can identify the perpetrators immediately after incidents, then why has it failed to prevent them?

Khwarazmi added that the Afghan government is committed to Islamic values and never considers the killing or oppression of innocent people for political purposes permissible, nor does it support those who commit such unlawful acts.

The Ministry of Defense spokesperson further recommended that Pakistani security officials properly fulfill their responsibilities in the field of security instead of evading accountability or diverting public attention.

He stated that the regime should review its policies and, instead of alienating its people and neighboring countries, adopt a path of positive engagement.
